Trainer

Kaitlyn is a accomplished equestrian professional with over 30 years of experience in the hunter/jumper industry. As a dedicated trainer and mentor, she has helped countless riders achieve success, with her clients consistently winning numerous awards at both local and national finals. She is known for her ability to teach riders at every level - from beginners to advanced competitors. Her training philosophy emphasizes building a solid foundation, fostering confidence, and developing skills necessary to succeed, while always ensuring that the horse and riders physical and mental well-being are at the forefront.  She believes in the importance of building lasting relationships between horse and rider and has a keen ability to match the perfect equine partner, ensuring a harmonious and successful partnership.

Her competitive career in the hunter, jumper, and equitation disciplines, has been marked by numerous wins in regional Grand Prix's, hunter derbies and prestigious events. Her success as a rider is built on a strong foundation in equitation, a "soft hands" approach, a commitment to continual improvement, and a unwavering passion for the sport.

Kaitlyn is deeply knowledgeable in all aspects of the sport, from training to competition to horse care and management. Horses are a central part of her life.  Her commitment to their well-being, alongside her family's shared passion for the equestrian lifestyle, has made her a trusted and influential figure in the industry. She has helped many riders pursue careers in horses, whether by preparing them for college riding teams, to mentoring them as they embark on professional careers in the equestrian world.

Kaitlyn is a member of the Oregon Hunter Jumper Association (OHJA), the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), and the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA).
